1 Day Forging Class Start time is 9am, try to arrive around 8:30 am. You will have 1 45 min break after forging and a longer 90 min break while the blades are tempering. Class usually ends around 6pm.

Introduction course focusing on Hammer forging a blade and profiling with a knife grinder. In this 1 day course you will forge your own single edge, full tang knife. Every participant will be supplied an 8” piece of High Carbon steel to forge your blade. Typical blade styles that can be made are a hunting, camp, kitchen utility or edc style knife. After heat treating and final sanding, you will finish your blade with a paracord wrapped handle.

All materials, tools, and ppe will be provided. Water and Gatorade are supplied for the course.
